Curriculum Enrichment
Number Day:
On Friday 2nd February, we participated in Number Day, where we raised a massive £194 for the NSPCC. The children came in dressed as a number or wearing number on their clothes. We participated in a range of different problem solving activities throughout the day and had a very special celebration assembly, celebrating all amazing Maths achievements.
Nationwide visit
We were lucky enough to have the team from Nationwide to come into school to deliver some money sessions to each class. The children had the opportunity to discuss ways to spend and save money, needs and wants, as well as having a go at budgeting. Children in year four also learnt about gambling. We received a certificate and everyone got given a different gift to take away.
