Science - Year 2

As part of their learning about bending, twisting, squashing and stretching, the children completed the Curly Wurly challenge. The challenge was to use their knowledge to stretch the Curly Wurly as long as possible!

In the Living things and their habitats topic, the children had an opportunity to find out and research different habitats to consider how different animals are adapted to these environments. Below are some photos of their fact files made from this research.

Year 2 have green thumbs! During their learning about plants, the children planted different bulbs to observe how they grew over time. The children planted these in Autumn and the flowered in Spring. Below is some work they completed alongside this to determine the difference between seeds and bulbs.
