Science - Year 3

In their learning about Animals including humans, the children explored how muscles enable us to move. They observed closely their own arms to see what they could learn. Below is a written explanation of how our muscles work!

During their light topic, the children learn how light travels in straight rays. In order to see something, light must reflect off a surface and into your eye. Below is an example of work that shows three ray diagrams showing precisely this!

As part of their learning about rocks, the children completed a comparative and fair test enquiry to observe which type of rock would erode the most. The children tested this by shaking rocks inside all tubs of water and observing which tub went the most cloudy. See below for their results!
