Science - Year 4

Over the course of the year, as part of their learning about Living things and their habitats, the children gathered and recorded data about how many living things they could see in the local environment. See below for one child’s Autumn and Spring results!

During the children’s lessons on electricity, they became trouble shooters! They had to draw upon all their previous learning assess to determine what was wrong with each circuit and then draw a modified circuit that would work.

When learning about sound, the children completed a comparative and fair test enquiry to determine the relationship between the distance from the source of a sound and the decibels of volume that reached them. The children gathered results using iPads and then graphed them using Purple Mash to interpret their results.
